Lawyers have started screening people to serve as jurors for the trial of two people charged with killing a Saint Mary’s university student.

Twenty-six-year-old Loretta Saunders vanished from her Halifax apartment in February of 2014, and her body was found two weeks later in a wooded area off the Trans-Canada Highway in New Brunswick.

Four weeks have been set aside for the first-degree murder trial of Blake Leggette and Victoria Henneberry.
