The judge overseeing the death penalty phase of the trial of Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has told jurors they must keep an open mind on what punishment the defendant should receive.

Judge George O’Toole told jurors that if even one of them votes against the death penalty, the sentence will automatically be life in prison.

The prosecutor showed a picture of Tsarnaev giving the finger to a security camera in his jail cell three months after the bombings, saying that illustrates he is unrepentant.
