The Morning Show - Monday to Saturday 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Wake up with our lively and accomplished trio of hosts, Gopi, Raakhi and Saima. Broadcasting in Punjabi, Hindustani and English, this youthful and irreverent group will laugh, gab and gossip through the morning as they showcase the latest hits from the international music scene.

The Daytime Show – Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tune in and keep the energy level high all day with Nutan and Simmi while they play popular favourites and Top 40 Punjabi and Hindi tunes. Contests and listener interaction featured around the 12:00 noon hour.

Gupshup– Monday to Friday 2–3 pm & Panghat–Saturdays 2–3 pm

Renowned broadcaster Shushma Datt hosts the only talk show on RJ 1200. Whether it’s the hot seat or the driver’s seat, Shushma’s always ready to tackle topical issues and invites callers to voice their opinions as well. Saturday’s show focuses on women’s issues and is co-hosted with Nimmi Bali.

The Drive Home – Monday to Saturday 3 – 6:30 p.m.

The afternoon drive is never a grind with Flite and Angelina easing the stresses of the day! This lively show always features a foot-tapping playlist of music and the good-natured sparring makes the drive-home journey a breeze.

Evening Hungama – Monday to Saturday 7 – 11 p.m.

Tanhai - Monday to Thursday 11 p.m. – Midnight

Shushma has fun (and exercises the privilege of ownership!) by hosting a music program where she’ll make up a playlist according to her mood. She hopes to often be in a tranquil mood where poetry readings are followed by melodious songs.

Masala Mix – Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11 p.m. to Midnight

Features a lively mix of Hindustani, Punjabi and English chart-toppers.

The Filipino Hour 9 – 10 p.m.

Irene Yatco will regularly play a large selection of Filipino music and broadcast News from the Philippines. On the lighter side, each week may feature greetings from listeners, or reading of poems or letters.

Immagine Italia Noon – 2 p.m.

Vito Bruno packs a lot of programming into his time slot with his Top 6 Hit Parade, News (and soccer) direct from Italy, horoscopes, Quiz of the Day, interviews and much more!

Shabaneh 7 – 9 p.m.

With host Ramin Mahjouri, the show features both new and nostalgic Persian music and will regularly include commentaries, interviews, expert guests, as well as poetry reading and discussions on literature.

Gujarati Sanskrutick Program  9 – 11 a.m.

Presented by Deepali Shah who has a playlist ranging from traditional and oldies tunes to new hits, folk songs, ghazals, Arti and Garba-Rass.  Song requests will be welcome and interviews may also be featured occasionally.

Vichitra - The Bengali Hour  11 a.m. - Noon

Sumita Roy seeks to educate, entertain and cater to the interests of all Bengalis, thereby helping to enrich their lives – or their Sunday mornings at the very least.  Entertainment will be provided through music – contemporary, classical, fusion, folk, pop and easy-listening as well as music from films which have appeal for both Bengalis and othe South Asians.  Regular features will also include discussions on issues such as health, immigration and banking.

Vancouver Tamil Radio, Malayalam and Sinhala Programs 2-4 pm

Bala Kumarasamy plays a selection of old favorites and new songs from each community as well as featuring news from the various South Asian regions where these various languages are spoken.

Bahurangi Lehren (Hindi)  8 – 9 a.m.

Veteran broadcaster Shavilla Devi Singh presents a playlist of the most popular songs from film history through the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.
