Nutan Thakur is a passionate broadcaster and professional actor for over 30 years. She was an announcer in All India Radio, and a stage actor in Kolkata abefore she moved to Mumbai and began doing voice overs and acting in TV serials. In her time in Mumbai, she has worked with well-known names like Irfan Khan, Neena Gupta, Himesh Reshamiya and Satish Kaushik for ZeeTV, Sony, DD1, and DD2. Nutan then moved to Canada in 1997, where she joined Radio Rimjhim and later Spice Radio 1200 AM.
Nutan has emceed major events in Vancouver. She resumed her acting career in Canada with CBC in 2006. Since then, she has acted in TV serials, films, commercials and music videos with well-known names from Hollywood and Bollywood.
Nutan is also a Yog practitioner and leads her own Yog group named Aarogya. She loves to sing, dance, cook and spend time with her family.
